Vaccines for Children

Wood County Health Department works closely with Wood County medical providers to ensure that every child has the access to immunizations. Please visit your healthcare provider for immunizations. If your provider does not offer immunizations, the Wood County Health Department provides them for children birth through age 18.

Appointments can be made by calling 419-354-9049. We accept Medicaid and many private insurances. No child is turned away from Vaccines For Children (VFC) vaccines if their family is unable to pay for the shots.

Vaccines for Adults

Certain vaccines, including COVID, Flu and RSV, are recommended for adults. To see the CDCs vaccine recommendation for people age 19 and older, click here: CDC Vaccine Schedule - Adults. Contact your health care provider to schedule adult vaccinations.
