Smoke-Free Ohio

Effective December 7, 2006, Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Chapter 3794 prohibits all forms of tobacco smoke from entering public places and places of employment. It is the health department’s duty to respond to complaints and to enforce the regulations provided in ORC Chapter 3794 and Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) Chapter 3701-52. Any member of the public may submit a report of violation to the Ohio Department of Health or designee. To report violations, call 1-866-559-OHIO or email NoSmoke@odh.ohio.gov, or enter the complaint online.
