Health Center Board of Directors
The health center welcomed two new Board members in December 2024: Mindy Gallant, who serves as the Director of Compliance and Human Resource Development at Children's Resource Center, and Jeanette Knaggs, who is retired from the healthcare industry and is a consumer representative. Wood County Community Health Center’s Board is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences who reside throughout the health center’s service area. The majority of Board members are consumers (patients) of the health center, ensuring a strong patient voice to guide the health center’s service delivery and quality of care.
Stephen Meredith was re-appointed as Board President, Jody Eaton was re-appointed as Board Secretary, and Mohammed Omara was re-appointed as a Board member. Other continuing Board members include: Ruthann House (Vice President), Earl McKinney (Treasurer), Kenzi Clouse and Jerry Crawford.

Wood County Community Health Center is overseen by a Board of Directors that provides operational oversight and works to ensure the center is meeting the needs of the community. The majority (at least 51%) of Health Center board members must be patients of the health center and demographically representative of the populations served by the health center.

The Wood County Community Health Center Board of Directors holds regular meetings on the first Wednesday of every month at 3 p.m. at the Wood County Health Department Board Room.
