Wood County Health Department’s New Mobile Health Center

Wood County Health Department recently added a new way of offering health screens and other services in our community, a mobile health center. Purchased using funding from the Ohio Department of Health ELC Cooperative Agreement CK-19-1904, our health center will soon offer health screens including blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol for free in communities around Wood County, and additional services will be provided in the coming months.

In October, while we work to get screening services up and running, we’ll have our mobile health center available for tours at a variety of events around the county. Come see us to get a look at our new clinic and pick up free COVID tests and a free cold and flu season care kit.
