WCHD was awarded funds through Project Firstline for coordination of regional activities to educate local healthcare facilities in infection prevention in collaboration with Toledo-Lucas County Health Department and Hancock Public Health. As the primary agency on the grant, Wood County Health Department has lead efforts in coordinating training, developing content and conducting training sessions at long term care facilities and hospitals participating in the program.
