Regular Board of Health Meetings and Committee Meetings

Regular meetings of the Board will be held the second Thursday of each month that falls on or after the 10th of the month, and on the last calendar day of the year. Regular meetings are  planned to begin at 6:00 p.m. The Board of Health shall have two standing committees: (1) Finance Committee and (2) Personnel Committee.  These are special meetings of the Board of Health.  No final Board action may be taken at committee meetings; however, the committee may provide recommendations to the full Board.

In accordance with their bylaws, the Board of Health and the Health Center Board have called a special, joint meeting.

Purpose of the Meeting: 

This is a joint meeting of the Health Center Board and the Board of Health.  Either Board may take action related to the items listed below, provided they comply with their respective bylaws for quorum and passing resolutions.  The meeting will cover the following:

  • Joint review of, collaboration on, and consideration of resolutions related to health center issues, including but not limited to the following: (1) Health Center Board’s strategic plan; (2) budget for the health center; (3) personnel/staffing issues; (4) community needs; (5) evaluation of health center services; and (6) location and hours of operation; specific items anticipated for further discussion and consideration include the following:
    • Health center revenue cycle and financial assessment report by Forvis Mazars
  • Executive Session
  • Consideration of Resolutions
    • Action related to the previous discussion of health center issues
