Farmers' Market Nutrition Program

Your Health. Your Community. Your Health Department.

The WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) is a dual-purpose program that benefits both WIC participants and local farmers. As part of the program, eligible WIC participants receive six, $5 coupons that can be used to purchase authorized fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs from participating farmers at farmers’ markets and farm stands.

Coupons are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are typically distributed during the summer months. Wood County WIC participants may call our office at 419-354-9661 to inquire about coupon availability.
