Health Department: 419-352-8402 | Health Center: 419-354-9049
As part of our Federally Qualified Health Center, our pharmacy participates in a federal program called the 340B Drug Pricing Program that can help our patients save on the cost of prescription medication. By leveraging the discounts available through the 340B program, the Health Center ensures that patients who qualify can receive their prescribed medications at a more affordable rate, easing the financial burden for these patients.
To qualify for the discount prescription program, individuals must be seen by a Wood County Community Health Center provider who writes the prescription and they must qualify financially based on income.

Paul has been serving as the managing Pharmacist for Wood County Community Health Center since 2015. Prior to joining the Health Center, Paul worked as the manager of a Kroger Pharmacy in Toledo, Ohio. Paul is a 2012 graduate of The University of Toledo Doctor of Pharmacy program.
As the Pharmacist manager, Paul oversees the day-to-day operations of all Pharmacy services. Working together in close proximity to Primary Care, Dental and Behavioral Health services allows the Pharmacy ensure all patients are getting the medicines they need at an affordable price. Additionally, the Pharmacy is able leverage government pricing programs in order to stretch scarce federal resources as far as possible. Paul believes that building relationships with all pharmacy patients not only fosters a hometown pharmacy feel, but also promotes positive health outcomes. He says, “My favorite part of being a team member at the Health Center is the opportunity to get to know all of our patients on a personal level.”
