We are a full-service pharmacy for use by our patients. We offer medication affordability consultation including determining what insurance covers, what manufacturer patient assistance programs might they be eligible for, and helping them determine their options. Uninsured patients may be eligible for discounts based on income and household size.

Who can get prescriptions filled at the pharmacy?

Anyone who receives their primary care at the Wood County Community Health Center

What if I receive my primary care from another physician?

Establishing primary care at the health center is a prerequisite to using the on-site pharmacy. This would require transferring care from your current PCP to the health center. To transfer care, please fill out the Release of Information Form found at http://woodcountyhealth.org/wellnesscenter/ReleaseofInformation.pdf or stop by our front desk.

How much does medication cost at the pharmacy?

The cost of your medications will depend on several things:

- Do you have prescription insurance coverage?
  - If yes, then your medication costs will depend on what your insurance coverage dictates
  - If no, then your medication costs will depend on what your annual income is

Have you submitted proof of income to the front desk?

What prescriptions can I get filled at the pharmacy?

Any prescriptions prescribed by our in-house providers

What if I have specialists who prescribe medication(s) for me?

The pharmacist will review your specific situation and if appropriate, will request pertinent medical records from the specialist. Once these records are received, the pharmacy will be able to fill your prescription(s).**

What if I can’t afford my insurance copay(s) at the pharmacy?

There are several options to explore if you can’t afford your insurance copay(s) at the pharmacy. Please see the pharmacist to discuss your options.

What insurance companies do you accept at the pharmacy?

We accept most major insurance companies at the pharmacy, however there are some exceptions. See our pharmacist for more information on accepted insurance plans.

What are the pharmacy hours of operation?

In general, hours of operation are Monday, 8:30 am – 6:00 pm, Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, and Friday 8:30 am – 2:00 pm.
The pharmacy is closed from 12:30 – 1:30 pm for lunch on Monday-Thursday.
