Ohio EPA Issues statewide Air Quality Advisory due to smoke from Canadian wildfires
Updated Thursday, June 8, 2023
Ohio EPA has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality. Ohio EPA expects the Air Quality Index to remain elevated through Thursday, June 8. Impacts could extend beyond this date.
When air quality is elevated, people who are in sensitive groups (children, elderly, people with asthma or COPD) may experience health effects during outdoor activities sooner than others.
